Ensure Your Water is Safe with Criterion Labs' Drinking Water Test Kits
At Criterion Laboratories, we understand the importance of having safe drinking water. Our drinking water test kits are designed for residents and well-owners who want to ensure the quality of their water. Our kits test for a wide range of contaminants and water chemistry parameters, providing a thorough analysis of your water’s safety and quality.
Why Test Your Drinking Water?
Contaminants in drinking water can come from various sources, including natural deposits, industrial discharges, disinfection byproducts, and agricultural activities. Regular testing helps identify and mitigate potential health risks. Our test kits are tailored to detect harmful substances and ensure compliance with health standards.
Our Test Kits Cover the Following Contaminants:
Biological Contaminants:
- Bacteria: Total Coliform, E. Coli
Chemical Contaminants:
- Primary Pollutant Metals: Lead (Pb), Copper (Cu), and additional metals
- Per- and PolyFluoroAlkyl Substances (PFAS)
- Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
- Pesticides
- Inorganic Contaminants: Nitrates and Nitrites
Drinking Water Chemistry Analysis:
- pH Levels
- Water Hardness
- Turbidity
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommends that private wells be tested regularly to ensure safe drinking water. Criterion Laboratories offers testing services that align with these recommendations to help well-owners maintain the safety and quality of their water supply.
Annual Testing:
- Bacteria: Total Coliform and E. Coli
Triennial Testing (Every 3 years)
- Nitrate: Regular testing for nitrates is crucial, especially in agricultural areas where fertilizer use is common.
