HR & Office Administrator

Under limited supervision, the HR ADMINISTRATOR leads the Human Resource function as it relates to compliance, recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits, metrics, etc. The HR ADMINISTRATOR analyzes and implements HR policies, workflows, and processes. This position serves as an employee resource for all HR needs and manages all office management functions

This is largely a sedentary role and may sit or use PC for long periods of time. Bending, reaching, or stooping may be necessary for use of filing cabinets or other office cabinets or office machines. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Maintains compliance with all Human Resource laws and regulations through updated Handbooks and company policies as well as reporting, documentation, and postings
  • Responsible for all areas of Human Resources to include, Employment, Benefits, Compensation, HRIS, Retention, Performance Management, Compliance, Employee Relations, and Training.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and builds a valued relationship with leadership and staff
  • Spearheads and advises management in employee relation issues, performance management/improvement and corrective action
  • Leads employee relations investigations
  • Facilitates/Drives all recruitment efforts with hiring managers
  • Analyzes trends including turnover, culture survey, recommendations, and complaints
  • Assists management with identifying training needs, integration of effective HR processes, programs, and practices into daily operations
  • Recommends employee retention programs, trainings and assists in special events
  • Provides consultation and guidance to management in the interpretation of human resource policies, procedures, programs, and applications related to new regulation and laws
  • Researches, analyzes, and communicates new laws and regulations and how it will impact Criterion Labs
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Manages general office functions including, but not limited to:
    • Ordering Office Supplies
    • Managing inbound & outbound shipping
    • Process credit card payments/ invoices via e-mail and phone
    • Manage all shipping activities (labels, coolers, boxes, returns, etc.)-Dalena
    • Manage all office and lab maintenance needs
    • Manage copier and printer needs and all office equipment (vending machines, etc)
    • Manage year end filing/shredding
    • Create SOPs/Guidelines as needed
    • Performs other related duties as assigned or needed
